Managing Projects
A project is the top-level container in TESTMETRIX. All test cases, runs, and reports belong to a project.
Creating a Project
- From the dashboard, click New Project
- Enter the required fields:
- Name — e.g.
BMS Firmware,Motor Controller v2 - Description — brief summary of what is being tested
- Hardware Platform — the target hardware identifier
- Name — e.g.
- Click Create Project
Project Settings
After creation, you can configure:
- Members — invite team members and assign roles (Admin, Engineer, Viewer)
- Integrations — configure API tokens for CI/CD uploads
- Metadata — custom fields for your organization's tracking needs

Archiving a Project
Projects that are no longer active can be archived. Archived projects are read-only and hidden from the main dashboard but their data is preserved.
Go to Project Settings → Danger Zone → Archive Project.
